History

Englett Electric Inc. has been illuminating the community of Douglasville, Georgia since its establishment in 1966. Founded on the principles of integrity, professionalism, and unmatched service, our family-owned business has grown from a modest local operation into a leading provider of electrical services in the region. Over the years, we have committed ourselves to delivering exceptional electrical solutions with a personal touch that respects the trust our clients place in us.

The company was originally founded in Mableton, Georgia by Lanier and Hoyt Englett, and quickly earned a reputation for quality and reliability in electrical services. After Lanier became the sole owner, he continued to build on those values, fostering a business rooted in trust and family tradition.

In 1972, Clyde Rowell joined the team, bringing both skill and passion to the company. His connection to the Englett family deepened when he married Lanier’s daughter, Vicki, making Englett Electric truly a family-run business. Clyde and Vicki’s sons, Andy and Jesse, joined the company in 1999, carrying the legacy forward into the next generation.

In 2009, Englett Electric relocated to Douglasville, Georgia. That same year, Lanier retired, passing the leadership to Clyde, Vicki, Andy, and Jesse. Today, the company continues to serve the community with the same dedication and family-oriented approach that has defined it for decades. Englett Electric remains committed to delivering high-quality work while treating every customer like part of the family.
